1 I Schedule with Prior Experience
If your students have prior experience with Scratch, a typical project could be completed in two to three hours. This time can be divided however the teacher sees fit, though we recommend dividing it into several sessions to allow students to think about the competition outside of school and really cement their learning.
2 I Schedule without Prior Experience
If this is the first time your students are using Scratch, spending an additional hour or two learning the fundamentals will likely make it easier for them to get started. For recommended Scratch tutorials, please see the Resources section.
